Meet Marie and Felix

Meet Marie and Felix

Daisy Adamson |

Meet Marie and Felix, the duo behind Revolution Powersports, Whistler’s go-to shop for anyone who rides hard and lives for the mountains.

In a world of big-box retailers and faceless online stores, there’s something special about shopping local, especially when it’s with people who live and breathe the same lifestyle you do. From sleds to dirt bikes, Marie and Felix bring the same energy to the shop that they do to the trails - riding, testing, and perfecting everything they work on. Their hands-on passion, local expertise, and deep community roots have made Revolution Powersports the trusted choice for riders across the Sea-to-Sky.

"Whistler didn’t have a dedicated shop that really lived and breathed powersports the way we do, so we decided to fill that gap ourselves."

When did you open Revolution Powersports?
Revolution Powersports started back in 2009 when Felix saw a real need for a local shop in the Sea-to-Sky that could offer both expert repairs and genuine care for the riding community. He's always been passionate about the powersports lifestyle — sleds, dirt bikes, motos — and wanted to create a place that felt like home for riders.

What made you open RPW? Did you work in repairs before that?
Felix has always been the “hands-on” one — turning wrenches and problem-solving in the shop. I had more of a background in the organisational and admin side, so together we built a shop that balances expertise with personal service. At the time, Whistler didn’t have a dedicated shop that really lived and breathed powersports the way we do, so we decided to fill that gap ourselves.

"For us, powersports isn’t just work — it’s our lifestyle."

How long have you been in Whistler?
We’ve been in Whistler for over 19 years now. It’s home, and the lifestyle here — mountains, trails, snow — is a huge part of why we do what we do.

Why do you love what you do?
There’s a big difference between just working a job and being truly passionate about what you do. For us, powersports isn’t just work — it’s our lifestyle. We’ve been able to make a living out of it while sharing our knowledge, fixing things properly, and diagnosing problems the way we would on our own machines.

It’s not just about repairs — it’s about keeping people out there doing what they love. When a sledder comes in stressed about a breakdown, and we can get them back out on the snow, that’s the best feeling. We love being part of the community, seeing the same faces year after year, and knowing we play a role in helping people enjoy their rides.

"We’re a true family-run business, and that trust shows in the relationships we’ve built with our customers."

What sets RPW apart?

Big online retailers or big dealerships can compete on price, but they can’t compete on connection. What sets us apart is that we’re local, independent, and we actually ride the machines we work on. Our advice comes from experience. Unlike bigger corporate shops, RPW is only us  — we don’t have a parent company pushing us to sell specific products. We sell what’s best for our clients, and what we personally use and test. The way we fix machines and the products we recommend are the same ones we run on our own sleds, motos, and gear. We’re a true family-run business, and that trust shows in the relationships we’ve built with our customers.
