The Mountain Lab Heavy Duty Tow/Recovery Strap is 20 ft of purpose-built towing muscle, rated to 10,000 lb, with oversized sewn loops that stay secure under load.

Why a carabiner instead of a clevis? A clevis is heavy and slow to rig with cold hands. The included 49 kN steel carabiner (11,015 lbf) clips on in seconds, weighs a fraction of a clevis, and is more than strong enough to extract an ATV, snowmobile or full-size truck.
